Testicular lymphoma

Treatment follows the given guidelines for the appropriate histological subgroup. For localized disease (stage PeI), it is not necessary to give CNS prophylaxis, but this is recommended where testicular involvement is part of a more advanced disease. Lymphoma is often localized to both testicles, and radiation therapy also to the remaining testicle (2 Gy x 15) is recommended by most since recurrences are not uncommon in this area. For field modeling, see the chapter on radiation therapy.
